Gary Turcotte enjoys writing novels with a touch of humor in an otherwise serious situation. Turcotte grew up in Dover, New Hampshire, and has earned his living as a General Contractor. Inspired as a sophomore in High School by his English teacher, Mrs. Caroline O’Limire. Gary says she would assign the class a task of writing either short stories or poems. He had an active imagination and thought everyone had the same. She would read the stories to not just his class, but to all of the classes. Once graduated he remembered that she wished him well and said she couldn’t wait to read his books once published. He shrugged her compliments off thinking that possibly she says the same to nearly each student. Since then he carried his books in his mind, never getting them on paper. Busy with a family and a construction business life went on. Finally after the building boom and his daughter growing older he had some free time to write, and has continued.  He is now working on his 37th book. Also adding his new and old collections to Audible!
